Bobby Allen was born in Waterloo, Iowa in 1978. He was the youngest son in a family of four. He grew up in a dysfunctional home with parents that were drug and alcohol abusers. At a young age he found himself in trouble with the law, doing the same things as his parents, and being locked up in institutions throughout his child and teen years. At age 17, he was facing a prison sentence for his unlawful acts.
Thankfully, as he was growing up, a church bus came to his house to pick him up on Sunday from Grace Baptist Church, Marion, Iowa and the gospel seed was planted. It wasn't until November of 1995 when his future father-in-law, Wilbur Otterbeck told him that Jesus would save him if he would just simply ask , just like the jailor in the book of Acts said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved". Wilbur's reply was "You must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved". That evening Bobby Allen asked Jesus to save him. It gave Bobby Allen a reason to think that his life was worth living and gave him a new purpose that he never had before.
In September of 1998, Bobby Allen was baptized at Bible Baptist Church under Pastor Larry Stark in Dubuque, Iowa. March 10th of 1999, he married his wife Kizzy Allen of Dubuque Iowa. A few years later, in April of 2003, the Lord had called him to preach into full-time ministry at a Revival Fires conference in Lexington, Kentucky. After some trials and heartaches he was asked to go to Bible college to get some bible training. In 2008, he moved with his wife and two daughters, at the time, to attend Commonwealth Baptist College under Pastor Jeff Fugate of Clays Mill Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. He stayed there for four years and graduated May 16 of 2011. The following year he moved back to Iowa and served as an Evangelist at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Marion, Iowa. In April of 2013, he was ordained into the gospel ministry through Gospel Light Baptist Church under Pastor Ron Morrow.
The Lord has allowed Bobby Allen to be in the ministry for twelve years and nine of the years as an Evangelist, one year as a Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Vinton , Iowa, under Pastor Joshua Graber, and two years at a church replant as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Eureka Kansas. Out of those twelve years of ministry Bobby Allen was able to see many souls saved, baptized, and added to the church. He had the privilege to start a tent ministry for four years and was able to start two bus ministries through the churches that he attended. Bobby Allen has been thankfully married for twenty + years to the same wife with three girls named Shayla, Isabella, and Esther, and one son named Ezra. he had the privilege to lead three of his four children to the Lord so far and all are happily serving in the ministry for the Lord together presently at Maranatha Baptist Church in Bethany Oklahoma as an Evangelist and Bus driver under Pastor Allen Domelle.
