Biblical Authority as the only Authority in matters of belief and practice.

Autonomy of the local Church as an Independent body accountable only to God.

Priesthood of the Believer-every believer has direct access to God through prayer.

Two Ordinances and Only Two -Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Saved, Baptized, Church Membership.

Two Offices- Pastor and Deacon.

The Scriptures

I believe that the holy Bible was written by men supernaturally inspired, that it has truth without any error for its matter, and therefore is , and shall remain to the end of the age, the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man.

By "Holy Bible" that is the collection of sixty-six Books, from Genesis to Revelation, which was written and preserved by God through the ages does not only contain and convey the Word of God but IS the very word of God.

2.By "inspiration" I mean that the books of the Bible were written by holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, in a way that the writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from all error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be inspired.

I believe that the preserved Word of God, for English speaking people, is the Authorized King James Bible.

2nd Timothy 3:16, 2nd Peter 1:20, Psalm 138:2, Psalm 119,Proverbs 30:5 Revelation 22:18,19

The True God

I believe that there is one, and only one true and living God, an eternal intelligent Spirit, the Creator and Supreme ruler of all of heaven and the earth; wonderfully marvelous and in all ways Holy, and worthy to be praised and worship with all confidence and love. The union of the God head contains three persons including the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All equal in divine perfection but with distinct roles that work in perfect harmony in the work of salvation.

Malachi 2:10, 1Corinthians 8:6, Matthew28:19, Galatians 3:20, 1 John 5:7

The Holy Spirit

I believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the father and his Son and of the same nature and that He was active in the creation, and in his relation to the unbelieving world He restrains the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled. He convicts of sin, of righteousness, judgment and he bears witness to the Truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony. He is the agent in the new birth and seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the new believer.

Acts 5:3,4 ; John 16:7-11 ; Genesis 1:1; Titus 3:5

The Devil or Satan

I believe that Satan was once holy, and was able to enjoy heavenly honors, but through pride and ambition wanted to be as the Almighty and fell and drew with him a host of angels, and he is now the prince of the power of the air and the unholy god of this world. We know that he is mans great tempter and the enemy of God and His Christ. He is also the Accuser of the brethren, the author of false doctrine and teachings. However, he is destined to final defeat at the hands of Gods Son, and will be judged with eternal justice in the lake of fire, which, is a place that is prepared for him and his angels to forever remain.

Isaiah 14:12-19; John 8:44 Revelation 20:1-3, 7-10

The Creation

I believe in the Genesis account of creation, and I believe that it is to be accepted literally, and not allegorically or symbolically, and that man was formed directly in Gods own image and after His own likeness, which was not derived by evolution of species in any form and that all animal and plant life were made directly and that all species were created by Gods law that they can bring forth only those after their own kind.

Genesis 1,2; John 1:1-3; Hebrews 11:1-3

The Fall Of Man

I believe that man was sinless and lived within the law of his Maker, but by his own choice fell from his innocent state, and consequently, sin fell upon all men because all mankind has made the voluntary choice under just condemnation without excuse or defense.

Genesis3; Romans 5:12,15,17,18

The Virgin Birth

I believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous way and that Mary birthed him, as a virgin, and that no man was ever born in this manner. He is both the Son of God, and God the Son.

Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26-35; Matthew 1:18-25

The Freeness of Salvation

I believe that God chose to save man by His grace and that the blessings of salvation are made free to all through the Gospel. Nothing prevents a sinner from coming to the Saviour other than his own voluntary rejection which causes eternal condemnation.

Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, Romans 10:13, Matthew 19:25-26, 1 Timothy 1:15,2:3-4

Repentance and Faith

I believe that repentance and faith are solemn obligations and also inseparable graces, wrought within our souls by the quickening of the Holy Spirit of God, therefore, we are deeply convicted of our sin, guilt, and helplessness. we come to Him for salvation by Christ and we turn to God with a desperately broken spirit with confession and supplication for mercy and at the same time gladly receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and openly confessing Him as our only and all sufficient Saviour.

Hebrews 11:6; John 168-16; Luke 13:1-5; Acts 20:21

The Church

I believe that the church of Christ is a congregation of baptized believers associated by a covenant of faith, fellowship, and practice of the Gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ;

governed by his laws; and exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word;

that it offers are the pastor, bishop, and or deacons, whose qualifications, claims, duties are clearly defined in the Scriptures. I believe the true mission of the church is found in the Great Commission, as follows: first, to lead people to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ; than build the church by having converts follow the Lord in Scriptural baptism, which is by immersion, third, to teach and instruct all members of the church as He commanded. I don't believe in the reversal of this order. We hold that the local church has the absolute right of self government, free from the interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations, and Scriptural for churches of like faith to cooperate with each other in contending for the faith and the furtherance of the Gospel; that every church is sole and only judge of the measure and method of its cooperation; on all matters of membership, of policy,of government,of discipline, of benevolence the will of the local church is final.

Acts 2:47; 1st Timothy 3:1-13; Matthew28:18-20; Acts 6:1-8,20:17-31; 1st Peter 5:1-3

Ephesians 4:11-16

Baptism and the Lord's Supper

I believe that Scriptural baptism is by immersion in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, with the authority of the local church to show a solemn and beautiful emblem of our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life; that is prerequisite to the privilege of the church membership and the Lords Supper; in which the members of the church by sacred use of the bread and the fruit of the vine are to commemorate together the dying love for the Lord Jesus Christ, preceded always by solemn self-examination.

Matthew 3:13-17; Acts 8:26-39; 1st Corinthians 11:23-33; Luke 22:19-20

The Righteous and the Wicked

I believe that there is a radical and essential difference between the righteous and the wicked; that such only as through faith are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and sanctified by the Spirit of our God, and are truly righteous in His eyes; while all such as continue impotence and unbelief are in His sight wicked, and under the curse, and this distinction holds among men both in and after death, in the everlasting happiness of the saints and the everlasting suffering of the lost.

Psalm 14:1; 1st Corinthians 1:18; 2:14 ; Romans 1:20-32; John 1:12; 3:18, 19

Civil Government

I believe that civil government is of divine appointment, for the interests and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored and obeyed; except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the only Lord of conscience and the coming Prince of the Kings of the earth.

Romans 13:1-7; Matthew 22:21; Mark 12:17; Titus 3:1; 1st Timothy 2:1,2

The Pretribulation Rapture and the Premillenial return of the

Lord Jesus Christ and Related Events

I believe in and accept the sacred Scriptures upon these subjects at their face and full value. Of the resurrection, I believe that Christ arose bodily " the third day according to the Scriptures," and that He ascended "to the right hand of the throne of God;" "that this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall come like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven"- bodily, personally, and visibly that the "dead in Christ shall rise first;" that the living saints " shall be changed in a moment , in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump;" "that the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David;" and that "Christ shall reign a thousand years in righteousness until He put all enemies under His feet;' that He shall rule and reign throughout eternity.
